But finally we get to see something that proves ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is for real and not an illusion. Hrithik Roshan took to Instagram and Twitter to share a picture of him with his director Ashutosh Gowarikar, announcing the release date as August 12, 2016. And we love the way Hrithik’s done it. The date as you see below is displayed on the clapperboard. The message is loud and clear:

Mohenjo Daro shoot wraps! See you on the other side on the 12th of August!

Mohenjo Daro according to some sources is epic adventure-romance film. ‘Mohenjo Daro’ stars Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde, and is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo-daro – the era of Indus Valley civilization dating back to 2600 BC. Indeed sounds very interesting.

The film and Hrithik were in the news few days back when a leading newspaper photographer managed to get some clicks straight from the sets, unveiling Hrithik’s look in the film. This obviously didn’t go down to well with the star. Here are some of those pictures.

The music of the film is by A R Rahman. Other actors include Kabir Bedi, Arunoday Singh and Casey Frank. The shooting took place in Bhuj and Jabalpur in India, and boasts of fight sequences with tigers and crocodiles. In fact Hrithik Roshan was signed for a whopping Rs 50 crore ((US$7.4 million), making him the highest paid Indian actor.

With so much going for the film, we are expect nothing less than a visual spectacle this time from Ashutosh Gowarikar, whose last two films – ‘What’s Your Raashee?’ and ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’, bombed at the box office.
